A winter adventure with a sweet reward
A snowcat vehicle takes us through snow covered forest up the steep ‘Mossaruten’ mountain (820m). Here we will enjoy amazing views over the Norwegian mountains in the west, Sonfjället National Park in the north and of course Lofsdalen with its own mount Hovärken.
Enjoy a proper, sweet Swedish waffle with a view 🧇
Once we arrive at the top, we enjoy a visit to Lofsdalen’s one and only waffle house, where we can taste their amazing Swedish waffles with strawberry or cloudberry jam and whipped cream!
After our visit to the Waffle House, we put on our snowshoes and start our descent to Lofsdalen. During the hike down we’ll enjoy the views over all of Lofsdalens snow covered valley and frozen lake.

Difficulty
EASY General fitness is required. This adventure is not very demanding and should be suitable for the whole family. Some hiking experience in areas with changes in altitude may be useful.
