An exciting drive through the Swedish wilderness

You drive your own car on a scenic route in the area with a high chance of encountering wildlife! The safari begins at our headquarters, about 15 minutes from Lofsdalen, where you’ll receive a route description, binoculars, and a picnic basket. The route takes approximately 2-3 hours along unpaved roads.

We provide you with precise locations and tips where we regularly spot wildlife. Along the route you even have the possibility to visit a real bear den! Don’t worry, it’s empty during summer time 😉

Enjoy a Swedish ‘fika’ at one of the beautiful picnic spots or in your car.

Animals you might encounter on the route include bears, moose, foxes, beavers, and various bird species such as wood grouse, black grouse or even golden eagles.

👉 Note: This route mostly traverses unpaved roads, sometimes in less than ideal conditions, so please take that into account. It is doable with a campervan/camper, as long as you take it easy.
